Steve "Seve" Lind joins the Harmony Club as the Director of Golf. Seve has worked in the golf and country club industry since 1984. Accredited as a Professional Golf Association (PGA) Class "A" Professional, most recently, Mr. Lind was the director of golf at Canyon Gate Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. His career includes professional and director positions at Eaton Country Club, Colorado; Singletree Golf Club, Colorado; and Fox Acres Country Club, Colorado. Returning to his hometown of Fort Collins, Seve's responsibilities at Harmony Club cover all aspects of golf operations and membership retention.
Eric Knotts joins Harmony Club as Head Assistant Professional. Eric is currently a Level Three PGA Apprentice in the Professional Golf Management Program. Eric has lived in Ft. Collins for over ten years and is a graduate of Colorado State University and Fort Collins High School. Eric has prior experience at Collindale Golf Course and comes to Harmony Club with several years of experience in the service industry.
Superintendent Mitch Bowers’ 24-year career in turf management has taken him to prestigious golf courses all over the western United States. Mitch has been associated with five different golf courses through various stages of construction and management He has practiced his craft at The Ridge, in Auburn, CA, and Carmel Valley Ranch Resort in Carmel, CA, among other courses. Mitch also worked with four different PGA tournaments at Pebble Beach, including two AT&T National Pro-Ams and the 100th & 110th U.S. Opens. Hired to work with the course architect during Harmony's construction and grow-in period, Mitch holds the distrinction of being the first employee at.
Steve Spotz, Assistant Golf Superintendent at Harmony Club, graduated from Colorado State University's Landscape Horticulture program in 1999. He spent the next two years helping create Michigan's Tullymore Golf Club, the Golf Digest's 2001 "Best New Upscale Public Course in America" and Colorado's Redlands Mesa, recognized as seventeenth on Golf Digest's 2006 "Greatest Public Golf Courses." He served for more than three years as the Assistant Superintendent at Antelope Hills, in Bennet, CO, and joined Harmony in March of 2006.
Renée Benzel is responsible for membership sales and marketing. She comes to Harmony Club with extensive public relations and marketing experience for companies such as Hewlett-Packard and First National Bank. Her background also includes an assistant golf professional position at Collindale Golf Course. Renée’s ability to speak the passion of golf with members, prospects and friends is evident both on and off the course. She is a Fort Collins native and a Colorado State University graduate.
Stan Fenn, Director of Instruction, has been a Class A member of the Professional Golfers' Asoociation since 1979. He has taught the game of golf to adult and junior beginners, intermediate golfers, high school standouts, city champions, college players and PGA playing professionals for 30 years. Some of his most recent students include some Harmony members and a few present members on the CSU mens' and womens' golf teams. Stan graduated from Colorado State in 1973 and brings years of successful experience in golf to the Harmony Club. His previous positions included General Manger of Rifle Creek GC , Head PGA Professional at Plum Creek GC, weekly radio host of the "Chip Shots Radio Show" in Denver and Director of Instruction from the Golf Academy of Northern Colorado at Collindale GC in Fort Collins.http://golfacademynortherncolorado.com/
